Thomas Miller
I’m not your typical photographer with a camera and a long lens chasing trends. For me, aviation isn’t just a hobby—it’s been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. What started as a dream turned into a hobby, and over the years it’s grown into both a career and a lifestyle. I’ve spent countless hours on airport ramps, not just taking photos of airplanes, but learning their stories, capturing their moments, and building connections with the people who fly and maintain them.
That passion didn’t stop behind the camera lens. It inspired me to take the next step and get into the flight deck myself. Since 2023, I’ve been on the journey to become a pilot—training, flying, and logging hours toward earning my Private Pilot License. Every flight I take brings me closer to living out the dream I’ve carried since I was a kid.
When I’m not flying, spotting, or shooting, I enjoy traveling, building projects, and spending time with my dog who keeps me grounded when I’m not chasing aircraft.
Professionally, I work as an Aircraft Line Technician at AvFlight in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Every day I get the privilege of fueling and handling some of the most advanced corporate jets in the world—making sure they’re safe, fueled, and ready to go for clients who trust us with their multi-million dollar aircraft. Aviation isn’t just my job—it’s my life, my passion, and the thing that keeps pushing me to dream bigger.
